The emergency charging cable allows you to charge your IONIQ 6 from a domestic 230 Volt power socket. The cable has a household plug at one end and a Type 2 plug to connect toyour IONIQ 5 at the other allowing you to charge your vehicle at wall outlets. Because the emergency charging cable and wall outlets only allow for up to 2.7kW (depending on domestic electric power supply and cable setting) charging, the process takes a lot longer.

From an e-bike, power electrical camping equipment, or some domestic appliances, the V2L connector even allows you to charge when the vehicle is turned off.
